Sand Land Introduces the Antagonistic Forest Land Nation

Publisher Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer for the upcoming action RPG Sand Land. The two-minute-long video titled “Forest Land” introduces the nation of the same name. This nation is opposed to the neighboring country Sand Land and aims to secure a powerful but dangerous resource called Aquanium. The trailer presents the various generals of the Forest Land army that the protagonist and his companions will fight during their adventure.

Sand Land is based on the 2000 manga of the same name from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and is set in a desert world where humans and demons are suffering from a water shortage. The game follows Beelzebub as he joins Sheriff Rao and the demon Thief to search for a Legendary Spring. Sand Land will release internationally for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on April 26, 2024, with pre-orders currently available. A demo of the game is also available on all the platforms.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
