Sand Land Demonstrates the Uniride, Base Development

Bandai Namco released a new gameplay trailer for Sand Land. The minute-long video showcases the Uniride, one of the vehicles that players can use in the game to traverse the world and battle monsters. The single-wheeled craft allows players to travel across land as well as hover in the air.

In addition, Bandai Namco released its third developer diary for the game. The three-minute video sees Game Producer Keishu Minami and Social Marketing Manager Samantha Reinert discuss the game’s base camp and how players are able to develop it throughout the game. As it grows, more people move in, granting players access to new sidequests. It also lets players customise their own housing.

Sand Land is based on the 2000 manga of the same name from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and is set in a desert world where humans and demons are suffering from a water shortage. The game follows Beelzebub as he joins Sheriff Rao and the demon Thief to search for a Legendary Spring. Players explore the world on foot and in a variety of vehicles, with the game featuring both vehicular and character-based combat. The game is being developed by ILCA for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but does not currently have a release date.
