New Tokyo Xanadu Project in Development
To mark the forthcoming tenth anniversary of action RPG Tokyo Xanadu, developer Nihon Falcom announced that a new title is currently in development. The game, currently referred to as Tokyo Xanadu New Project, is in development for unspecified consoles with no release window announced.
Tokyo Xanadu, which received an enhanced version titled Tokyo Xanadu eX+, features a modern setting where players control a party of characters from the fictional Tokyo district of Moriyama City as they deal with the threat from a mysterious shadow world called the Eclipse. The next title is set in the same world but features a new setting, taking players to the city of Kyoto instead. It is billed as a completely new title with systems created from the ground up. No further details have been revealed, though Nihon Falcom released a teaser trailer and images.
