Tales of Seikyu Kickstarter Campaign Underway

Developer ACE Entertaintment has begun its Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for farming adventure Tales of Seikyu. The campaign has already far surpassed its $40,000 funding goal, with the campaign set to run until February 24, 2024. Stretch goals yet to be reached include console releases, although various amounts of additional content. Those who pledge at least $20 will receive a digital Steam copy of the game –where the game is initially planned to release late this year — as part of their backer rewards.

Tales of Seikyu is set in eponymous fantasy land of Seikyu. Players control the new owner of a countryside house, managing its farm with their friend Kon while building relationships with the local yokai community. The game features over 30 characters with their own intertwined stories. Gameplay includes regular farming sim elements as players raise crops and animals, but also features divine masks that grant players special transformations and abilities, such as taking to the skies as a crow tengu. It will also include multiplayer.
