Tales of Seikyu Marks Early Access Launch with Trailer, Roadmap
Publisher Fireshine Games and developer ACE Entertainment released a new trailer and roadmap ahead of life sim adventure Tales of Seikyu‘s release on Steam Early Access tomorrow. The five-minute gameplay deep dive video introduces palyers to the island of Seikyu as well as showing how players will spend their time doing activities such as collecting materials, decorating, crafting, farming, exploring, fulfilling requests, and more.
The game is expected to spend around a year in Early Access. The game’s first major content update is planned to include further main story quests, an additional dateable NPC, a summer festival, more heart events, a ranch, a hot spring, and more items. Future updates will include more dateable NPCs, a community-voted NPC, birthday events, marriage, more main and villager quests, more bosses, more festivals, more buildings, more customisation options, new transformations, and more.
Tales of Seikyu puts players in the role of a fox yokai, primarily in human form, who arrives on the island of Seikyu along with their sibling Kon, who is in fox form, where yokai have formed a settlement inspired by those of humans. As a fox yokai, players are able to take on multiple different forms, which they can use for land manipulation and material gathering, and can also build relationships with other local yokai.
