Tails of Iron Gets Free End-Game Expansion

Odd Bug Studio and United Label have released a free expansion for adventure RPG Tails of Iron. The Bright Fir Forest expansion takes place after the events of the main story and sees Redgi invited by the squirrels to celebrate the Festival of Leaf Fall. However, a new adversary is seeking revenge.

The expansion will include four main story quests and nine sidequests, each with their own new bosses, as Redgi visits the squirrels’ Castle Drey. It also adds three new challengers at the Mole Arena, plus more weapons and armour, new cosmetic upgrades for Redgi’s Crimson Keep, and additional music and trophies.

Tails of Iron released in September 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The game follows Redgi, heir to the Rat Throne, as he tries to restore his kingdom by defeating the Frog Clan and its leader Greenwart. It features challenging 2D action combat, with players able to customise Redgi’s combat capabilities and style with different weapons and armor. It also includes crafting and sidequests, with players aided by companions on selected missions.
