Level-5 Gives Updated Release Windows and New Trailers for Upcoming Titles

Level-5 has revealed new release windows and trailers for five upcoming games. Some of these games were previously scheduled to release in 2023 and are being officially delayed, while others are receiving release windows for the first time.

Megaton Musashi: Wired is scheduled to launch on April 25, 2024 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Megaton Musashi: Wired is an enhanced re-release of the 2021 Japan-only release Megaton Musashi localized for the first time for international audiences. The frenetic action RPG features a single player campaign and multiplayer with cross-play on all platforms.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has been delayed to Summer 2024. The life sim RPG sees players create a custom character and explore an island as they take on various roles and jobs. The game is currently announced only for Nintendo Switch and a new trailer highlighting the visual upgrades and new features compared to the previous release in the series can be viewed below.

The lengthy development of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road continues as it too has been officially delayed. The soccer themed anime RPG is now scheduled to launch sometime in 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. Players can sign up for a worldwide beta test for the Nintendo Switch version taking place in March 2024. New story and gameplay trailers can be viewed below.

The sci-fi detective action RPG Decapolice has also had its release window moved to 2024. While no new details or trailers were revealed for this title, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has promised the delay will help them deliver “a dense and immersive world, filled with opportunities to play”. Players can look forward to hearing more about this title ahead of its launch next year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

Finally, Level-5 provided an update on Professor Layton and the New World of Steam. The latest installment of this long-running adventure / puzzle hybrid is now scheduled to launch sometime in 2025 on Nintendo Switch. The game takes place in Steam Bison, USA, where series protagonists Professor Layton and Luke are sent to investigate a mysterious incident.
