Frameland: A Binary Tale Gets Debut Trailer

Frameland Games released its first official trailer for Frameland: A Binary Tale. The turn-based pixel-art RPG is set in the world of Condorra, where swarms of machines have driven humanity to the verge of extinction. It is planned to release on PC and Mac via Steam in 2024.

Frameland’s story is told from two perspectives and stars Ryiu, who is transported from his quaint hometown of Hammertal to this foreign, hostile land. Fortunately, he is able to find allies as he looks to return home, though many seem intent on keeping Condorra’s secrets hidden.

The game features no random encounters, while its turn-based combat features timing mechanics. Each enemy has its own weakness but players have limited resources to take advantage of them with, while players can customise their play style using artifacts called remnants. A single playthrough is stated to run around six to eight hours.
