Salt and Sacrifice Coming to Steam, Switch in November

Ska Studios and Devoured Studios announced that 2D action RPG Salt and Sacrifice will be released on both Steam and Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2023. The follow-up to Salt and Sanctuary originally released for PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in 2022. In addition, a free update will also be released on November 7, 2023. The “Traitor’s Tomb” update will be available on all platforms except Nintendo Switch, and add the new Heart of Altarstone dungeons that adds an extra 20% to the overall map size as well as five new bosses, new equipment, and a new PvP multiplayer arena mode.

Salt and Sacrifice takes place in the Altarstone Kingdom, where criminals can either opt for execution or live in service as Marked Inquisitors tasked with hunting down Mages. Players choose the crime, appearance, and class of their Marked Inquisitor before conducting the rite that puts them into the Spellmarked state between life and death.
