Disgaea 7 Demo Now Available

NIS America has released a free demo version of tactical RPG Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless in North America and Europe. The demo is available to download now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. It will let players transfer their progress to the full game. The demo release is accompanied by a new trailer, viewable below, that features the song “The Invasion from Within!”, performed by Tsunami Bomb, which appeared in the original American release of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.

Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless takes place in the Hinomoto Netherworld Cluster, a netherworld inspired by Japanese culture that is losing its “Bushido” lifestyle after being taken over by the corrupt Oedo Shogunate. The story follows lazy samurai Fuji and Hinomoto otaku Pirilika, who collect an odd assortment of allies as they search for the Seven Weapons of Origin in order to defeat the Shogunate. Disgaea 7 will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in North America and for PC worldwide on October 3, 2023, with its European PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch release to follow a few days later on October 6, 2023.
