Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters Second DLC Now Available

Frontier Foundry and Complex Games have released the second DLC for tactical RPG Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters. The Execution Force DLC is available for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store, priced at $14.99/€14.99.

The DLC gives players access to four new Assassin classes available to deploy across the game, as well as a new set of Tentarus Hive missions and boarding action missions against Death Guard cruisers. The new Hive missions see the corruption on the world rapidly increase the longer they stay around, and require players to eradicate the central Hives by removing Hive Gems from the battlefield. Boarding missions see players race against time to destroy vital generators and make their escape. Meanwhile, a new free update includes new Warp Surge events and three new enemies: the Plague Surgeon, the Nurgling Swarm, and the Beast of Nurgle.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters features a story written by author Aaron Dembski-Bowden and follows the secret Grey Knights chapter of the Space Marines. The Grey Knights find themselves called upon to deal with the spread of a plague called the Bloom, travelling the galaxy and determining which planets will survive in their efforts to stop the Bloom.
