Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.


Dave the Diver

Dave the Diver is a mixture of adventure RPG, sea exploration, and sushi restaurant management. Players venture underwater into the ever-changing Blue Hole and catch fish and other creatures with a variety of weapons during the day, before running the sushi restaurant at night.

Enclave is a third-person action RPG with two separate story-driven campaigns where the player sides with the forces of Light or Darkness. The game features numerous character classes including Knights, Wizards, and Druids for Light, and Berserkers, Assassins, and Goblins for Darkness. The HD remaster includes upgraded visuals and sound effects plus an enhanced soundtrack with over 20 new tracks and remastered original tracks.

Front Mission 1st: Remake is a remake of the first entry in the tactical RPG series, which was originally released for Super Famicom in Japan in 1995. The series is set in an alternate future where mechas called wanzers are the primary tools of conflict. Those looking to read more about Front Mission 1st: Remake can check out Paul Shkreli’s review. A remake of Front Mission 2 is set to release on Nintendo Switch later this year.


Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is a puzzle-solving mystery adventure directed by Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi. It sees players controlling Sissel, a detective who wakes up a ghost following his own murder having lost his memories. and sees him solving cases by possessing and manipulating objects as well as rewinding time. Master Detective Archive: Rain Code

Master Detective Archive: Rain Code is a new mystery adventure from many of the key staff behind Danganronpa. It is set in the rainy Kanai Ward, which is ruled by the Amaterasu Corporation and has Master Detectives from across the world flocking to it to investigate its many mysteries. Players control amnesiac detective-in-training Yuma, who is haunted by the spirit Shinigami, as he explores the city and its mysteries in his role at the Nocturnal Detective Agency.


Noob: The Factionless

Noob: The Factionless is a turn-based RPG set in the world of Noob, a French multimedia franchise created in 2008. The game follows the newly formed guild Rush in a fictional MMORPG called Horizon and its four members: Baster the Neogician, Drek the Berserker, May the Cartomancer, and Logs the Elementalist. The group plans to quickly reach level 100 and join the elite players of Horizon, but must also deal with real-life quests as well as those in-game.

Turn-based RPG Soulvars features party combat with deckbuilding elements and takes place in a future world where humanity’s abuse of technology has resulted in the emergence of grotesque creatures called Dominators. To counter Dominator attacks, elite units have been formed made up of Soulbearers, next-generation humans born with alternate Souls. The game follows Yakumo, a freelance Soulbearer working for private military contractor DDO (Dominator Disposal Organization).


Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life sees players looking to fulfill their father’s dream of running a farm while potentially finding a partner and raising a child, with the remaster allowing players to romance all marriage candidates regardless of gender. The new release includes new events, enhanced festivals, and additional crops and recipes.
