Quantamancy: The Purgatory Cancelled

AeternoBlade developer Corecell Technology announced that it has cancelled development on Quantamancy: The Purgatory. The game was announced in 2022 as a “holypunk relationship-building roguelite action RPG” and in development for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Corecell Technology provided the following message regarding the cancellation:

We regret to inform you that we have decided to cancel the development of our game, Quantamancy: The Purgatory, due to unforeseen circumstances.

The journey of creating Quantamancy: The Purgatory has been a passionate endeavor born from the friendship between the Executive Director and the Director. Unfortunately, after two years of development, we found ourselves in conflict over creative direction. To preserve our friendship, we’ve decided to go our separate ways. The Director will retain all the rights and continue to work on this project in alignment with his own vision.

We understand that this news may be disappointing to our fans. We share your disappointment and extend our gratitude to our team for their hard work and creativity.

Despite this setback, we remain committed to creating innovative games. We look forward to sharing our future projects with you. Stay tuned to our online platforms for updates. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Thank you!

Corecell Team.
