Genshin Impact Version 3.6 Update Launches Next Week

HoYoverse announced that its latest update for Genshin Impact will release on April 12, 2023. The version 3.6 update, “A Parade of Providence”, will add the Akademiya Extravaganza festival, as well as a new area in Sumeru, two playable characters, and more.

The Akademiya Extravaganza will feature two main events, the Wisdom Gala and the Interdarshan Championship, which feature six new mini-games. The new area is deep within the desert and is made up of wastelands and an oasis that have been damaged by Gray Crystals and Purple Mists. The two new characters are Baizhu and Kaveh. Baizhu is five-star catalyst wielder and a doctor with the power of Dendro, while Kaveh is a four-star Dendro claymore wielder and a talented architect.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG that originally released in September 2020 and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. Players control a character in the world of Teyvat known as “the Traveler” and must embark on a journey to find their missing sibling. They are joined by NPC companion Paimon, travelling in a party of up to four active members.
