System Shock Remake Launching on PC in May

Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios have announced that their remake of System Shock will launch for PC on May 30, 2023. Releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S will follow at a later date. The PC version will be available through Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store for $39.99, with early buyers receiving a free copy of the upcoming System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition when it launches.

Originally released in 1994, System Shock is a sci-fi RPG set on an space station that has been taken over by the rogue A.I. SHODAN who seeks to destroy the human race. The remake is a ground-up rebuild of the game, featuring HD visuals, updated controls and UI, and remastered sound and music.
