Octopath Traveler II Prologue Demo Available Now

Square Enix has released a free Prologue demo for Octopath Traveler II ahead of the game’s release later this month. The demo is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, and will be available for PC via Steam at 5pm GMT on February 9, 2023. The demo lets player choose one of the eight starting protagonists and play for up to three hours, with save progress able to be transferred to the full game.

Octopath Traveler II follows the intertwined stories of its eight protagonists, each with their own class. The game tells a new story to its predecessor. Players select one of the protagonists to start their journey, eventually crossing paths with the other heroes and recruiting them to the party, after which they can play through the new recruits’ stories. Octopath Traveler II is set to release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on February 24, 2023.
