Souls of Chronos Releasing in February

Publisher Astrolabe Games and developer FUTU Studio announced that Souls of Chronos will release on February 14, 2023. The game will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch with English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese language support.

Souls of Chronos is set fifteen years after an apocalyptic event. It begins in the harbour town of Astella and follows a young boy named Sid and a young girl named Tori. Tori is a Chronus, one with powers over time who are bonded to a human partner known as a Linked through a pact. Sid is looking to escape the town and explore the wider world, which he does as he becomes involved in a case that threatens to upend the world.

Throughout their journey, Sid and Tori are joined by various allies. Players are able to forge alliances and shape Sid’s personality through choice, which will determine the fates of various factions. Both Sid and Tori participate in combat, with players able to choose different skills and combat styles, as well as equip two weapons from six different weapon types with their own upgrade paths. Tori’s Chrono power is able to manipulate time during combat to turn the tide of battle.
