Like a Dragon: Ishin! Shows Mini-Games, Trooper Cards

Sega released new videos for Ryū ga Gotoku Studio’s Like a Dragon: Ishin!. Two new minute-long feature overview videos give a quick introduction to the title’s mini-games and its Trooper Cards system. Trooper Cards are combat elements where players are granted powerful temporary power-ups and special abilities. These can obtained and leveled-up throughout the game, and include six special guest cameo cards, two of which are wrestler Kenny Omega and actor Rahul Kohli as shown in their own videos.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is a remake of Ryū ga Gotoku Ishin!, a spin-off of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise that casts that series’ characters in the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Players take control of historical figure Sakamoto Ryoma, here represented by main series’ protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, as the country veers toward revolution. The game will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on February 23, 2023.
