The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki Northern War Airing in Japan in January

Nihon Falcom and Tatsunoko Production announced that The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki Northern War animated series will air in Japan starting on January 8, 2023. The announcement comes with the release of a new trailer, viewable below, which includes an appearance from Rean Schwarzer and other characters from the game series, as well as some of the theme song “The story so far”, performed by Chisato Akita.

Northern War takes place in the Septian year 1205, following the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II. It is set in the northwestern state of North Ambria, a poor region on the border of the Erebonian Empire. The story follows Lavian Winslet, who volunteers to join the renowned Northern Jaegers to help protect her hometown and prove herself different to her grandfather Vlad. She ends up in a platoon with Martin S. Robinson, Iseria Frost, and Talion Drake, which is ordered to take on a risky undercover mission in the Erebonian Empire.
