New Pokémon Wiglett Revealed

The Pokémon Company revealed a new Pokémon that will be appearing in the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Known as the Garden Eel Pokémon, Wiglett has a similar appearance to Diglett but is confirmed to be a different species.

Wiglett is a Water-type Pokémon and comes with the speed-adjusting Abilities Gooey and Rattled. It pokes its head out of its burrow to feed in the ocean and has a great sense of smell but is very skittish, retreating into the sand when it notices other Pokémon.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet takes players to the brand new Paldea region. The games will release worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022.
