Ars Notoria Gets Announcement Trailer

Developer XRON Software released an announcement trailer for its fantasy sandbox survival RPG Ars Notoria. The game is in development for PC, and is planned to release via Steam Early Access in early 2023. It is expected to spend at least a year in Early Access. The initial Early Access release will include a full main storyline, with the developer planning to add additional factions, each with its own storyline, as well as other content in updates throughout the Early Access period.

Ars Notoria starts players as a lowly beggar who is drafted into the kingdom’s army to fight against a growing army of magic-corrupted creatures called the Enthralled. Players soon discover the ability to Soul Bind with other adventurers, and grow their power while becoming embroiled in conflicts between the High Spirits and the factions that worship them.

Players build their own character, but are also able to recruit other adventurers using the Soul Bind power. Up to three other adventurers can be put into the active squad, and players can readily swap between them. The game will also feature online co-op multiplayer with dungeons, crafting, and town-building elements.
