Labyrinth of Zangetsu Gets Trailer

Acquire released a trailer for upcoming dungeon-crawling RPG Labyrinth of Zangetsu. The two-minute video highlights the game’s ink painting artistic style and shows some snippets of its turn-based combat.

Labyrinth of Zangetsu is heavily themed on Japanese culture, including audio inspired by gagaku music and noh drama. The game is set in Ido, “the city of the morning moon”, in the nation of Tokinokuni. Ido’s forces are fighting a constant battle against a calamity called the Ink of Destruction, which causes living beings to go mad or become demons. Labyrinth of Zangetsu will release in Japan on September 29, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.
