Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II Remaster Releasing in Summer

Interplay Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast have announced a remaster of action RPG Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II. The remaster follows that of its predecessor last year, and will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch this summer.

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is set in the Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms campaign, and utilises rules from Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition. The game was originally released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004. It features five playable characters at the start — plus two unlockable characters — and four difficulty levels. It also includes two-player local co-op, which will available on the remaster on all platforms.
