Wizards of the Coast and Interplay Entertainment have released a remastered version of action RPG Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance. The remaster is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, priced at $29.99. PC, iOS, and Android versions will be released later this year.

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is set in the Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms campaign, and utilises the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition. The game was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2001 with Xbox and Nintendo GameCube releases following as well as a separate Game Boy Advance title. It includes two-player local co-op, which is included on the console remaster. The game received a sequel, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II, with spiritual successor Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance set to release in June 2021.
