Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance Remaster Now Available on PC

Interplay Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast have released the PC remastered version of action RPG Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance. The PC version of the remaster — which was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch earlier this year — is currently available on Steam and, priced at $29.99. It is also planned to be made available on the Epic Games Store.

Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance is set in the Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms campaign, and utilises rules from Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition. The game was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2001 with Xbox and Nintendo GameCube releases following as well as a separate Game Boy Advance title. It includes two-player local co-op, which is included on the console remaster. The game received a sequel, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II, while a spiritual successor, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, was released in 2021.
