Curious Expedition 2 Visits the Shores of Taishi

Thunderful Games and Maschinen-Mensch have announced new DLC for Curious Expedition 2. Shores of Taishi will release for PC on May 17, 2022, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch receiving it at a later date. The DLC will cost $5.99 and adds a new Celestial Shores island type with new tiles, a new teleportation mechanic, and the new Peacock Tribe. It will also add six new characters including Red Panda, Tanuki, Ghost Catcher, and Warrior Peacock as well as new enemy types, locations, items, and more.

Curious Expedition 2 is a narrative roguelike set in a reimagined late 19th century and is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game takes place in an alternate world where mysterious islands have begun to appear and vanish, with explorer clubs funding expeditions to bring back treasures to the 1889 World Fair in Paris. It features procedurally-generated worlds and storytelling with players required to manage their expedition’s resources and sanity.
