Valkyrie Elysium Revealed

During the latest PlayStation State of Play presentation, Square Enix unveiled Valkyrie Elysium. Developed by Soleil Ltd., the game is a new entry in the Norse mythology-inspired Valkyrie series that began with Valkyrie Profile. It is an action RPG and set to release in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Valkyrie Elysium follows a young Valkyrie entrusted with the fate of the world. She is tasked by the All-Father, ruler of the gods, with stopping Ragnarok and the destruction of the world. The game’s combat makes use of finishing moves and combo systems, while the music is composed by series veteran Motoi Sakuraba, with character designs from Yuya Nagai (NieR: Automata).
