Kingdom Hearts Switch Cloud Versions Releasing in February

Square Enix announced Nintendo Switch cloud versions for the Kingdom Hearts series. The games will be released on February 10, 2022, and are available to pre-order now with a 20% launch discount on their regular prices:

Demos for the releases are now available to try out on Nintendo Switch. The demos let players explore each title twice for roughly ten minutes each (fifteen minutes for Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 ReMIX).

Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 ReMIX was originally released as two separate bundles for PlayStation 3 before being combined and released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It includes the following titles:

  • Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts RE:Chain of Memories 
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (remastered HD cutscenes)
  • Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts RE:coded (remastered HD cutscenes)

Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue was originally released for PlayStation 4 before later being released on Xbox One and PC. It includes:

  • Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
  • Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-
  • Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover (movie)

Kingdom Hearts III was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019 with a PC version released in 2021.
