The Cruel King and the Great Hero Releasing in March

NIS America revealed that its upcoming title The Cruel King and the Great Hero will release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America on March 1, 2022. The game’s European release will follow a few days later on March 4, 2022.

The Cruel King and the Great Hero is an RPG from Sayaka Oda, creator of The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince. The release date reveal is accompanied by a new gameplay trailer that shows Yuu as she undertakes adventures in the forest, tailed by her dragon guardian. Yuu seeks to emulate her father and become a great hero. Yuu’s father defeated the dragon in the past and asked the dragon to look after Yuu when he passed away.
