Everspace 2 Full Release Pushed to 2023

Developer Rockfish Games announced that the full release date of spaceship looter RPG Everspace 2 has been pushed back to 2023. The game is currently in Early Access on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam Early Access and GOG.com Games in Development with the full version set to be released for PC, Mac, Linux, and PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The developer also announced that the Early Access version will be available on PC through the Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass subscription service from October 21, 2021.

Everspace 2 is a follow-up to Everspace, which released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2017 with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions following in 2018. Everspace 2 underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2019. The latest major update to Early Access version is planned for November 2021 and will add a fourth star system — the Khaït Nebula — as well as new alien lifeforms, new artifacts, a new sub-faction, a new companion, and more.
