Dungeon Defenders: Awakened Releasing on Switch in August

Chromatic Games announced that Dungeon Defenders: Awakened will release on Nintendo Switch on August 4, 2021. The date will also see the release of the free The Lycan’s Keep update on PC and Xbox One, with the update to also arrive on the Nintendo Switch version shortly after. The Lycan’s Keep adds the Rogue and the Warden as playable characters, as well as four maps and new challenges, plus an overhaul of the game’s item system.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened acts as a reboot for the series, with players selecting one of four heroes. The initial release featured fifteen stages, six difficulty settings, and a selection of game modes. The game sees up to four players setting up and upgrading their defences to protect core crystals from being destroyed by waves of enemies.
