Dungeon Defenders: Awakened Release Windows, Closed Beta Announced

Chromatic Games has announced release windows for Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, its upcoming follow-up to Dungeon Defenders. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch and PC in Q1 2020, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions to follow in Q2 2020. The developer also announced that those who have pre-ordered the game through its earlier Kickstarter campaign or on BackerKit at the $40 level will receive access to a closed beta version on PC from today, November 22, 2019.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened is said to offer a complete reimagining of the original’s combination of action RPG mechanics and tower defence strategy. Players are tasked with defending their castle from hordes of enemies, while visiting other locations as they chase down the evil Harbinger. The game will come with four initial characters, fifteen maps, and five game modes.
