Shiro Games Announces Wartales, Heading to Early Access
Developer Shiro Games announced open-world strategy RPG Wartales. The game is being developed for PC and will be made available on Steam Early Access later this year. It is expected to spend around a year in Early Access before fully launching.
Wartales is set a hundred years after the fall of the Edoran Empire to a plague. The turmoil following has resulted in the land becoming rife with bandits and thieves, leading to the rise of mercenary work. Players lead their own group of mercenaries aiming to survive while recruiting new members, accepting contracts, and collecting bounties.
It is good that combat is so tactical, because there is a lot of it.
