New Release Round-Up (June 24, 2021)

Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases.


Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance

Action RPG Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is a spiritual successor to the Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance series. The game follows Drizzt Do’Urden and his companions Catti-brie, Bruenor, and Wulfgar as they adventure across the frozen Icewind Dale. Dark Alliance features local and online co-op for up to four players, with an expansion, Echoes of the Blood War, to release later this year.


Empire of Angels IV

Tactical RPG Empire of Angels IV sees players recruiting over a dozen female warriors, with 22 unit types and multiple class trees. It follows Niya — a captain of the Valkyrie Kingdom — and the Namter Investigation Team as they seek to find the truth behind a plague spreading across the land of Asgard.


Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

2D action RPG Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is set in a world where strange rain causes people to turn undead. The game stars Lily, the last surviving priestess, who awakens in a church with no knowledge of recent events. She explores the surroundings of her sanctuary to find the source of the rain, summoning purified undead to protect her.


Legend of Mana Remastered

Platform: PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch

Legend of Mana Remastered is a remastered the fourth game in the Mana series that was released for PlayStation in Japan in 1999 and in North America in 2000. The game sees players setting off into the world of Fa’Diel to find the Mana Tree, only to discover the world is empty. Players find special artifacts that can be placed down, adding new towns and dungeons, with the story changing based on player decisions. Mario Golf: Super Rush

Mario Golf: Super Rush is the latest title in the Mario Golf series. The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos is a tactical RPG based on French author John Lang’s Le Donjon de Naheulbeuk parody audio series. Players control a party of adventurers, journeying through Zangdar’s dungeon, known only by their classes (e.g. the Ranger, the Elf, etc.).
