Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released this week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.


Black Myth: Wukong

Action RPG Black Myth: Wukong is based on the novel Journey to the West, where players take on the role of Sun Wukong as they explore the realms and landscapes of ancient Chinese mythology while meeting familiar characters from the novel. Along with being able to use his staff to perform melee strikes, the protagonist can also use spells, magic vessels, and transformations. The game is also planned to release on Xbox Series X|S at a later date.


Elemental Exiles

Elemental Exiles is a deckbuilding roguelike. Players control one of twelve playable characters (four unlocked from the start) and take them on a quest across an explorable fantasy world.


Elrentaros Wanderings

Action RPG Elrentaros Wanderings was released in Japan as Rear Sekai. The game sees players control a male or female protagonist, who visits the town of Elrentaros in the fantasy world of Melvania and sets off on an adventure to help the townsfolk. However, during the adventure, they find themselves awakening in a different modern world. Players need to uncover the secrets behind the two worlds.


Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds

Janthir Wilds is the fifth expansion for MMORPG Guild Wars 2. Janthir Wilds’s story takes place following the events of previous expansion Secrets of the Obscure as players make contact with the pastoral Lowland Kodan in the rugged region of Janthir while discovering the secret of a primordial magic. There will be two new maps for players to explore at launch, with a third to be added in a later update. The expansion will also add the new two-handed spear weapon type, the Warclaw mount to single-player exploration, a new raid, the new Homesteads player housing system, and more.


Rise Eterna War

Tactical RPG Rise Eterna War is set ten years before the events of 2021 title Rise Eterna. It sees players guiding Arthbane’s forces as they fight the occupying Athracian army. It features over forty story missions with players able to utilise sixteen unit types and eleven heroes.


Tactical Breach Wizards

Tactical Breach Wizards is a turn-based strategy title that sees players commanding a team of renegade wizards as they uncover a modern conspiracy. Each of the wizards has their own unique abilities that players can utilise, with the game including a free rewind mechanic for if their spell-slinging plans fail to work out.


Wild West Dynasty

Platform: PC (previously released on Nintendo Switch)

Wild West Dynasty is part of Toplitz Productions’ Dynasty simulation RPG franchise that includes Sengoku Dynasty, Medieval Dynasty, and Vampire Dynasty. It is set in 19th-century western America and lets players control a lone survivor who builds their own settlement. The game, which had been in Early Access since 2023, features a sandbox campaign where players can craft, hunt, and farm, building their own ranch before expanding a town around it.
