Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope Revealed

During its E3 Ubisoft Forward presentation, Ubisoft announced Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The game is a sequel to 2017’s Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and is set to launch for Nintendo Switch in 2022.

Like the previous game, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope features turn-based tactical battles. The game sees Mario and his friends teaming up with the Rabbids to stop an entity called Cursa, which is consuming energy from the Sparks — fusions of Lumas and Rabbids — and plunging the galaxy into chaos.

Players control a team of three members selected from nine playable characters, travelling from planet to planet to free them from Cursa’s influence. As players rescue Sparks, they are able to use their powers in battle, including generating an energy barrier or causing fire to rain down on enemies.
