Garden Story to Sprout This Summer

During the Day of the Devs digital event, Rose City Games released a new trailer for Picogram’s adventure RPG Garden Story, showing one-and-a-half minutes of gameplay footage. The game is being developed for PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch, and has been confirmed for a summer 2021 release.

Garden Story puts players in the role of Concord the grape, the newly appointed guardian of Spring Hamlet. Concord has to deal with problems including a mysterious Rot that is affecting the previously flourishing island the village is on. However, he will be able to call upon the aid of those he has helped and made friends with. Players will be able to engage in action combat, traverse dungeons, gather materials to craft upgrades, and help the island’s other Greenlings to unlock memories that grant permanent stat boosts.
