Echoes of Mana, Trials of Mana Announced for Mobile

Square Enix held a livestream celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Mana series, during which it announced new title Echoes of Mana and a mobile release for Trials of Mana. Echoes of Mana is a free-to-play title with in-app transactions being developed by Another Eden developer WFS and planned for release worldwide on iOS and Android in 2022. The game will feature an original story involving both new and returning characters from the series.

Trials of Mana is a full remake of Super Famicon title Seiken Densetsu 3 and is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The new iOS and Android versions will launch on July 15, 2021, priced at $23.99. Those looking to read more about Trials of Mana can check out Jervon Perkins’ review of the PlayStation 4 version.

Finally, the company announced animated series Legend of Mana -The Teardrop Crystal-. The series follows the events of Legend of Mana and is being produced by Warner Bros. Japan, Graphinica, and Yokohama Animation Lab. It is planned to air worldwide though no date has been provided. In addition, producer Masaru Oyamada stated that a new Mana title is in development for consoles.
