Dragon Star Varnir Launching for Switch in August

Idea Factory International announced the North American and European release date for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Star Varnir. The game will be released on the console on August 3, 2021. Physical editions are available to pre-order now from Limited Run Games, with copies to also go on sale on Idea Factory International’s North American online store on July 6, 2021.

Dragon Star Varnir stars Zephy, a knight who becomes lost in a remote forest. He is rescued by a witch, but in the process drinks the blood of a dragon that attacked him, causing a special power to awaken. The game was originally released for PlayStation 4 in Japan in October 2018 before launching in North America and Europe in June 2019. A PC version was released worldwide in October 2019, with the Nintendo Switch version released in Japan in May 2021.
