Undertale Launching on Xbox One

8-4 announced that Tobyfox’s Undertale will launch for Xbox One tomorrow, March 16, 2021. The game will be available to purchase digitally for $14.99 and will also be included as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. The Xbox One version is playable on Xbox Series X.

Originally released for PC and Mac in 2015 before later launching for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch, Undertale lets players control a human who has fallen into an underground world of monsters. They are tasked with finding their way out, lest they remain trapped underground forever. The game’s turn-based battle system allows players to get through encounters without necessarily killing their opponents. The first chapter of its follow-up, Deltarune, was released for PC in 2018 and for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
