Deltarune Gets Development Update

Solo developer Toby Fox posted a new update regarding the development of Deltarune, the follow-up to 2015’s Undertale. The first chapter of Deltarune was released for PC in 2018 and for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2019. In the update, Toby Fox stated that the design and a large portion of the initial implementation of chapter two are complete.

He currently has a team of three assisting day-to-day on the game’s development, along with others also helping, and stated that the team is necessary due to the higher complexity of Deltarune as well as extended difficulties resulting from wrist and hand pain. He is also looking at bringing others into the development for the third chapter of the game. More details can be found on the update post.

In addition, Fangamer and 8-4 presented a fifth anniversary concert broadcast for Undertale. The orchestral concert features music arranged and performed by MUSIC Engine. The concert was filmed in May 2019 in Tokyo, Japan with the new broadcast, viewable in full below, featuring remastered and new content.
