New Combat System Teased for The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki
Nihon Falcom released three new screenshots for its latest entry in The Legend of Heroes series, The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki. The new images show the game’s new combat system, which will let players switch between action and command-based modes. The action mode will see players controlling one party member, while the others will be controlled by the AI. The command mode will utilise similar elements to the combat in the Trails of Cold Steel subseries.
Kuro no Kiseki takes place a year after the events of the previous title, Hajimari no Kiseki, and two years after the events of Trails of Cold Steel III and Trails of Cold Steel IV. It is set in the Calvard Republic, a multi-ethnic nation experiencing rapid economic growth and the Erebonian Empire’s eastern neighbour. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki is set to be released in Japan in 2021, though platforms have not been announced.
