NieR Re[in]carnation Launching in Japan in February

Square Enix and Applibot announced that mobile title NieR Re[in]carnation will launch in Japan on February 18, 2021. The game will be available as a free-to-play title on iOS and Android. An in-game collaboration event with NieR: Automata that features the characters 2B, 9S, and A2 will be available at launch.

NieR Re[in]carnation sees players traversing an area called the Cage, collecting parts of “weapon’s memory” that have been distorted and restoring them. The game is split between 3D exploration in the Cage and 2D events for the weapon’s memory, with combat taking place at certain points. North American and European releases are planned but have not been dated.
