The Elder Scrolls Online Teases Gates of Oblivion

Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios released a teaser trailer for The Elder Scrolls Onlines upcoming Gates of Oblivion event. Like 2019’s Season of the Dragon and 2020’s Dark Heart of Skyrim events, it will take place across 2021 and will see the studio introducing multiple pieces of themed content. A full reveal event will take place at 5pm Eastern on January 21, 2021.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a buy-to-play MMORPG with microtransactions and an optional subscription that was originally released for PC and Mac in 2014, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions following in 2015 and a Google Stadia version released in June 2020. Dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions are also planned but have not yet been dated. The game currently has four major expansions — Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, and Greymoor — alongside numerous other pieces of DLC content.
