Monster Hunter Rise Media Released, Demo Set for January

Capcom released a new trailer and screenshots for the upcoming Monster Hunter Rise. The media introduces two new monsters appearing in the game — Bishaten and Somnacanth — and features some sights of returning monsters Royal Ludroth and Great Wroggi. It also hints towards Rampage events that affect the setting of Kimura Village.

Monster Hunter Rise is a new mainline entry in the series. The game introduces new Canyne companions called Palamutes, which players can ride and which will also attack enemies, while Felyne Palico companions will also return as support-based allies. Monster Hunter Rise will release on Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021, with Capcom revealing that a limited-time demo will be released sometime in January 2021.
