Xuan-Yuan Sword VII Demo Available

Softstar Entertainment has released a free demo for upcoming action RPG Xuan-Yuan Sword VII. The demo is available to download via Steam and features the opening portions of the game, which is expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year.

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is the latest entry in the long-running Taiwanese RPG series. Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is set in a version of China about 2000 years ago, towards the end of the Western Han dynasty. Players control Taishi Zhao, a swordsman who sets out on a journey to protect his family. The story features elements of Chinese mythology and history, with a focus on the Mohism philosophy of logic and rationality. The game’s version of Mohism has allowed its adherents to gain technological advancements ahead of their time.
