Othercide Launching on Switch Next Week

Focus Home Interactive and Lightbulb Crew have announced that tactical RPG Othercide will be released for Nintendo Switch on September 10, 2020. The release of the Nintendo Switch version will also see the launch of a new content update for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The update includes additional gameplay mechanics as well as a new “Dream mode” that offers a more accessible challenge.

Othercide puts players in control of the Daughters, an order of warriors descended from the greatest warrior, as they face off against beings from another dimension known as the Others. The game features a dynamic timeline that lets players delay enemy actions or set up combos, as well as a distinctive visual style that pushes red tones for effect in an otherwise black-and-white aesthetic.
