Phantom Doctrine 2: The Cabal Announced

Developer CreativeForge Games has announced a follow-up to its tactical espionage title Phantom Doctrine. Phantom Doctrine 2: The Cabal is confirmed to be coming to PC via Steam, though no release window has been announced.

Phantom Doctrine 2 is set in an alternate world where the 1986 Chernobyl explosion is the first of a series of terrorist attacks undertaken by a group called the Cabal. Players control a counterintelligence operation, recruiting agents from different sources including the CIA, KGB, and criminal groups, with a 15-hour single-player campaign that takes players on missions across the globe. Like the first game, Phantom Doctrine 2 heavily features stealth. However, instead of the turn-based tactical combat of the original, gameplay in the new entry takes place in real time with tactical pause, using a third-person view.
