Baldur’s Gate III Gets New Trailer, Early Access Planned for August

During the Guerrilla Collect showcase, Larian Studios released a new trailer for Baldur’s Gate III, revealing that the game is currently planned to launch on Steam Early Access in August 2020. In addition to the trailer, Larian Studios’ Swen Vincke provided a new community update on the status of the game’s development and revealed that a new gameplay livestream will be held on June 18, 2020, as part of D&D Live 2020.

Baldur’s Gate III is based on the latest fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons ruleset. The game will be playable in single-player or with friends and will feature a focus on player freedom and high-stakes decisions. Baldur’s Gate III is being developed for PC and Google Stadia.
