Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remaster Releasing in August

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be released on August 27, 2020, on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game is also coming to iOS and Android devices and is targeted for the same date, but those release timings are currently subject to change. A release date announcement trailer and new screenshots are also viewable below.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is a remaster of the original Nintendo GameCube title released in 2004. The co-op action RPG sees players controlling a group of adventurers searching for myrrh, a fuel for crystals that protect the world’s settlements from a poisonous miasma. The party carries along a chalice that forms a limited protective bubble against the miasma. The remaster will include cross-play and cross-save across all four platforms.
